mad_men_styleA stellar show set in the 60’s about a fictional advertising agency, and the on-goings of the main character’s life (Jon Hamm). The set, clothes, makeup and dialogue are carefully crafted to give you the “full experience”. It’s a smart show, not for everyone, for those who want something authentic, something relatable, not fictional and shot in hawaii with mysteries appearing every episode or two, who am I kidding? I love Lost. I recommend this show wholeheartedly for the little selection of people who’re interested in something real and factual.

A new poster has been released for the already-released-for-a-few-weeks movie that proudly displays the awards and nominations it garnered in this short period of time. This is a really smart move to attract more viewers to actually SEE the movie. The American audience is the worst, in everything, both movies and music.

Director: John Patrick Shanley. Cast: Meryl Streep, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Amy Adams. In Short: Set in 1964, Doubt centers on a nun who confronts a priest after suspecting him abusing a black student. He denies the charges, and much of the plays quick-fire dialogue tackles themes of religion, morality and authority. It’s Probably my most anticipated movie of (what’s left of) the year, I would proudly watch anything with Meryl Streep in it, and now add Philip Seymour, and Amy Adams to the mix, and I’m sold. All three cast members mentioned are up for a Golden Globed nomination, and two for Meryl for her work on Mamma Mia!. It’s a plus whenever Meryl plays an evil character, check out the trailer above.
